About the event
The Roanoke Valley Chapter, NSDAR, is proud to participate in the annual Roanoke Veterans Day Parade as we honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. Chapter members will ride on a patriotic float while dressed in Colonial-era attire, celebrating the enduring spirit of the American Revolution and paying tribute to the veterans who have defended the freedoms our Patriot ancestors helped secure.
As we join our community in this special observance, we invite everyone to line the parade route and help us recognize the sacrifices and service of our nation's veterans. We are honored to represent the DAR's commitment to patriotism and to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served.
